So I figured that since I was stuck in Northern Virginia, I might as well get to know it, and maybe even like it (I am being open-minded, yes). I generally take route 50 driving to Winchester from Washington and pass a lot of farms and wineries, which seem to have come off the pages of some fairy tale story book. Or a post card. Everything is perfect and well-groomed and taken care of. It's picturesque... and rather eerie. So the plan for the weekend was to go and prod around the seeming perfection of Middleburg, VA, one of the quaint towns that route 50 goes through.
